The cartridge filter element can be cleaned by pressure from inside and outside only with a garden hose.
After hosing the cartridge, for best results, allow cartridge to dry and carefully brush pleated surface areas to
remove fine particles. The cartridge shall be replaced when needed and at least once per year.

Replacing the cartridge

1. Carefully replace cartridge element over tie rod and into filter body ensuring that the cartridge sits
evenly on the collector hub in bottom of filter body. (6.-7. / Image 11).
2. Tighten locking ring in clockwise direction. (Hand tight only.) (Image 11).
3. Reconnect the quick connection (9. / Image 11).
4. Connect the hose to inlet and fasten the clamp (Basket & O-ring & Cover / Image 9) and suction hose
(Drain / Image 8 Image 8) if you have disconnected them.
5. Open valves to release water flow.
6. Plug the cord into the electric socket.
7. Turn on the device.
8. After there is no more air coming out from the air
release valve. Tighten the air release valve, only by
hand.
9. Check connections and tighten if necessary.
