NORME GENERALI DI
SICUREZZA
•
Dopo uno smontaggio completo, utilizzare sempre, per il
rimontaggio, guarnizioni di tenuta nuove originali Marzocchi.
•
Per il serraggio di due viti o dadi vicini, seguire sempre
la sequenza 1-2-1 utilizzando chiavi dinamometriche;
rispettare le coppie di serraggio previste (vedi Tabella 5 -
Coppie di serraggio).
•
Non utilizzare mai solventi infi ammabili o corrosivi per
la pulizia delle parti, perché potrebbero danneggiare le
guarnizioni di tenuta. Se necessario utilizzare detergenti
specifi ci, preferibilmente biodegradabili, non corrosivi, non
infi ammabili o ad alto punto di infi ammabilità, compatibili
con i materiali delle guarnizioni di tenuta.
•
Prima del rimontaggio, lubrifi care sempre le parti delle
forcelle in contatto relativo.
•
Se prevedete di non utilizzare la forcella per un lungo
periodo, lubrifi cate sempre con olio per forcelle tutti i
componenti in contatto relativo.
•
Non disperdere mai lubrifi canti, solventi o detergenti non
completamente biodegradabili nell'ambiente; essi devono
essere raccolti e conservati in appositi contenitori, quindi
smaltiti secondo le norme vigenti.
•
Sui labbri degli anelli di tenuta applicare sempre del
grasso prima del rimontaggio.
•
Utilizzare solo attrezzi del sistema metrico. Non usare mai
attrezzi del sistema imperiale (US). Gli strumenti imperiali (US)
con dimensioni simili a quelli metrici possono danneggiare
bulloni e viti e rendere poi impossibile lo svitamento.
•
Per svitare le viti con impronta a taglio o a croce, usare un
cacciavite di dimensione e tipo adeguati.

GENERAL MAINTENANCE
PROCEDURES
•
After a complete breakdown, always use new, original
Marzocchi seals when reassembling.
•
To tighten two screws, bolts or nuts that are near each
other, always follow the sequence 1-2-1 using a torque
wrench; strictly follow the indicated tightening torques (see
Table 5 - Tightening Torques).
•
Never use fl ammable or corrosive solvents to clean
parts as this could damage the seals. If necessary use
specifi c detergents, preferably biodegradable, that are not
corrosive, not fl ammable or have a high fl ash point, and
are compatible with the materials of the seals.
•
Before reassembling, always lubricate the parts of the
forks that are in contact with each other.
•
If you are planning not to use your fork for a long time,
use the fork's oil to lubricate those components that are in
contact with each other.
•
Never pour away lubricants, solvents or detergents that are
not completely biodegradable in the environment; these must
be collected and kept in the relevant special containers, and
disposed of in accordance with applicable regulations.
•
Always grease the lips of each seal before reassembling.
•
Use only metric tools. Never use imperial (US) tools. Imperial
(US) tools with similar sizes to metric tools can damage bolts
and screws, making them impossible to unfasten.
•
Use the correct size and type of screwdriver to unscrew
slotted or crosshead screws.
•
When using a screwdriver to install or remove metal stop-
rings, O-ring seals, sliding bushings or seal segments,
avoid scratching or damaging the components with the tip
of the screwdriver.
