1 OPERATION
G
The ST251 flooding detector indicates water levels in excess of
2 mm.
G
The ST252 deep freezer failure detector indicates temperatures in
excess of -12°C.
G
The ST253 mains supply detector indicates power cuts of more than
18 min ± 20% (short cut) or 5 hours ± 20% (long cut).
G
The ST254 minimum temperature detector indicates temperatures of
less than +5°C.
G
Combined with a DAITEM or LOGISTY control panel, the domestic
damage detectors (on the left) operate all round the clock whether or
not the break-in protection is working.
G
Should a problem occur on a piece of domestic equipment, the detec-
tor will immediately inform the control panel by radio. The control panel
stores the message and warns you of the problem by 4 audible bips
sent out at 90 second intervals. The telephone dialer (if present) auto-
matically alerts the central station or neighbours. The detector emits
4 audible bips at 90 second intervals to simplify location of the problem.
On return home, you can consult the control panel by pressing OFF on
the remote control or keypad.
A series of audible signals and a flashing light on the control panel
confirm that the problem has been registered.
The alarm memory will be deleted the next time the break-in protection
is armed.

G
Stick the top part of the warranty sticker on the warranty extension
application supplied with your alarm system's installation guide (the bot-
tom part of the sticker must not be removed).

5.4 Power supply

G
Connect the battery supplied with the detector in the right direction.
The red and green light indicators come on briefly.
G
Press the test button for 2 seconds. If the red light comes on, the
battery is OK.
From now onwards the control panel must be in the test position
(tamper-proof contact released).
!
If the control panel is wall-mounted, press OFF on the remote
control just before taking it off the wall. Then place it next to the detec-
tor taking care not to depress the tamper-proof contact.
NB: If the system comprises a telephone dialer, unplug it from the telepho-
ne network for the time required to implement the technical protection.
5.5 Installation radio code
FIG. D
G
You can programme the installation radio code using the 2 keys mar-
ked "0" and "1" inside the device.
When you take the detector out of its container, the installation radio
code programmed is the same as the blank code (all microswitch pla-
ced on ON for the DAITEM control panel or no broken coding connec-
tion for the LOGISTY control panel).
FIG. E
G
You can reproduce the system's installation radio code by pressing
these 2 keys in turn, bearing in mind that:
key "1" is for 1 micro-switch placed on ON for the DAITEM control
panel or for an intact connection for the LOGISTY control panel
key "0" is for 1 micro-switch placed on OFF for the DAITEM control
panel or for broken connection for the LOGISTY central panel
G
Copy this table onto a sheet of paper that will be destroyed after
coding:
1
installation radio code
detecteur code
G
Mark on the first line the boxes corresponding for 1 micro-switch on
OFF or to the holes in the coding template.
G
On the second line, below each cross, write a 0 (zero)
G
Fill in each empty box on the second line with a 1 (one).
