Yakima LOCKING BLOCKHEAD Mode D'emploi

Use the template on the following
page to scribe two drilling points.
• Use 1/4" (6mm) mounting
hardware.
• Always check handlebar
clearance before attaching block.
Remove shaft from handle.
Open handle.
NOTE: Shaft will turn with adjustment knob.
Set the bicycle forks onto the skewer.

Hold the adjustment knob.
Turn handle clockwise to
remove the shaft.
BlockHead attaches securely to flat surfaces.
Recommended Mounting Hardware includes 1/4" (6mm)
bolts or screws, fender washers, and locking nuts.
Align block with drilled holes.
Pivot the bolts or
screws into place.
Tighten hardware securely.
Test installation by pulling and shaking.
Replace skewer and tighten knob.
Hold the shaft at the far end. Join
the handle with the shaft, turn the
shaft counter-clockwise.
NOTE: Adjustment knob will turn with shaft.
With lever open, tighten knob until the
lever closes with FIRM resistance.
Loosen or tighten the
knob as needed so that
lever closes with FIRM
resistance.
