• When installing components, take into consideration the risk of accident which can arise from parts
being torn away in case of an accident. Therefore, you should secure every component in a place
where it cannot be dangerous to passengers.
• If proper operation of the device is no longer possible, de-commission it immediately and secure it
against accidental activation.
• Avoid subjecting the telephone to severe mechanical stress.
• Do not leave packing materials unattended. This could become a dangerous toy in the hands of children.
• Keep the unit out of the reach of children. It is not a toy.
• If in doubt about how to connect the device correctly, or should any questions arise that are not
addressed in these operating instructions, please contact our technical advisory service or another
specialist.
• If you have reason to assume that safe operation is no longer possible, disconnect the device imme-
diately and secure it against inadvertent operation. It can be assumed that safe operation is no longer
possible if:
- the device is visibly damaged,
- the device no longer works and
- the unit was stored under unfavourable conditions for a long period of time or
- if it has been subjected to considerable stress in transit.
