Product description

The parking aid system emits ultrasonic waves via 2 x four sensors on the vehicle. If any waves are
reflected off an obstacle, the same sensors pick this up.
The four sensors on the tail are activated when driving backwards, and the four front sensors when dri-
ving forwards.
The evaluation of the echo run time determines the distance to the obstacle and signals it acoustically and
optically.
The sound interval of the signaler changes in relation to the distance to the obstacle. The parking aid and
the front sensors are active during driving. When engaging the reverse gear, the parking aid switches
automatically to the rear sensors.
Pre-customized parts simplify the installation.
The ultrasound sensors are protected against jets of water and dustproof and therefore require no main-
tenance other than cleaning their exterior.
The device corresponds to the vehicle guideline (marked by the „e" number) and thus licensed
for operation on public roads in the EU countries.
