properly and safely and should always be under the supervision of an adult responsible for its safety.
Keep persons (esp. children) and animals away from product and working area.
Work area
The work area is where the machine will be installed to operate safely.
The work area should be flat, non-slip and sufficiently clear (unobstructed to
avoid tripping), with easy access for the user.
[Note: It is forbidden to use the machine on slopes, uneven, wet and difficult to
access terrain.]
Transport the machine into the work area.
Place the machine with the discharge chute in the direction of the wind, to
prevent wind from blowing chips and debris back to the user and the motor.
Secure the machine to prevent it from moving during use.
Delimit the working perimeter: The area within a perimeter of 5m of the
machine and the person using the machine should be considered a hazardous
area into which no one should enter.
If necessary, yellow warning tape, warning signs should be placed around the
perimeter of the work area.
WARNING! DANGER! Never position yourself in front of the discharge
chute!
IMPORTANT: remove any obstacle before beginning work. Obstacles may
lead you to lose balance are create hazards.
Organize the work area: prepare and place all the materials to be shred near the machine
(on the hopper side) to avoid unnecessary walks that can be a source of accidents.
IF SOMEONE COMES
- Be aware of your surroundings, constantly check the condition of the work
area to avoid any accident in case of intrusion of person or animal into the work
area.
- Guard against hazardous situations at all times. Warn adults to keep pets and
children away from the work area. Be careful if someone approaches you. Injury
may result from flying debris.
- If someone calls you out or otherwise interrupts you while working, always be
sure to turn off the engine before turning towards the person.
MAINTENANCE
1. In order to maintain your product in proper working condition, perform the
maintenance and checking operations described in the manual at regular
intervals.
2. Always be sure to turn off the engine and remove the spark plug before
performing any maintenance or checking procedures.
Warning: The metallic parts reach high temperatures immediately after
stopping the engine.
3. Whenever replacing the blades or any other part, make sure to only use
certified parts.
4. In the event that any part must be replaced, or any maintenance or repair
work not described in this manual must be performed, please contact an
authorized service center for assistance.
5. Under no circumstances should you ever take apart the product or alter it in
