It is of great importance that the liquid never runs outside the filling opening. Make sure to fill
the Bio Flame Burner® carefully and slowly, so it cannot be overfilled.
When the Bio Flame Burner® is filled with Ruby Fires bio ethanol 98% for the first time, the
ceramic brick on the inside will be saturated completely. The liquid will always remain partly
absorbed by the brick. Therefore it is necessary to use more bio ethanol the first time the burner is
filled than the following times.
To fill the first time:
Bio Flame Burner® big:
Indication: maximum 2 liter
Bio Flame Burner®small:
Indication: maximum 1,5 liter
Bio Flame Burner® mini/square:
Indication: maximum 1 liter
How to fill the Bio Flame Burner®
Open the filling-opening for a third by using the pegs on top of the burner. The Bio Flame
Burner® square has to be opened completely.
Place the enclosed funnel in the filling-opening.
Carefully pour the Ruby Fires bio ethanol 98% in the funnel until the ceramic brick is saturated,
but make sure that the liquid remains underneath the surface of the brick. The liquid must
remain at least 1 cm underneath the surface.
Warning: Make sure that the liquid does not flow outside the filling-opening. In case liquid has
been spilled outside the filling-opening, make sure this is dried up before lighting the fire.

There should never be fire outside the fire-opening. This is dangerous and can
also cause the insert to de-shape and damage the paint on the insert.
Warning: Keep on filling the burner until the liquid remains visible in the filling-opening. The
liquid must remain at least 1 cm underneath the surface.
When the Bio Flame Burner® is filled, remove the funnel and close the latch. You can now
completely open the latch. The burner-opening is visible and the Bio Flame burner is ready for
use.
The Bio Flame Burner® is ready to be used.
How to re-fill the Bio Flame Burner®
Close the latch when the Bio Flame Burner® is burnt empty.
To re-fill after burner has burned empty:
Bio Flame Burner® big:
Indication: maximum 1,5 liter
Bio Flame Burner® small:
Indication: maximum 1 liter
Bio Flame Burner® mini/square:
Indication: maximum 0,75 liter
