Installation rules

Installation should be carried out by qualified personnel in
compliance with the current regulations regarding the installation
of electrical equipment in the country where the products are
installed.
Conformity
EMC directive
Standards EN 60065, EN 61000-6-1 and EN 61000-6-3.
WEEE - Information for users
If the crossed-out bin symbol appears on the equipment or pack-
aging, this means the product must not be included with other
general waste at the end of its working life. The user must take
the worn product to a sorted waste center, or return it to the re-
tailer when purchasing a new one. Products for disposal can be consigned
free of charge (without any new purchase obligation) to retailers with a
sales area of at least 400m
, if they measure less than 25cm. An efficient
2
sorted waste collection for the environmentally friendly disposal of the used
device, or its subsequent recycling, helps avoid the potential negative ef-
fects on the environment and people's health, and encourages the re-use
and/or recycling of the construction materials.
Description
Audio electronic module with input for external CCTV camera
(41002), and audio video teleloop wide-angle (41005) for 41000
Series modular panels, can be used in systems with Due Fili
Plus technology.
Can be installed with all the auxiliary modules of the 41000 se-
ries.
The audio-video version module (41005) is equipped with:
- camera and white LEDs lighting the shooting area with auto-
matic brightness control according to the ambient light.
- camera with zoom&scan mode, can be controlled directly
from the indoor unit;
- two picture control modes, standard and enhanced portrait;
The audio module with camera input (41002) is factory set for
operation with an external camera enabled. The audio module
acts, to all intents and purposes, as an audio/video entrance
panel.
When there is no video signal at the M-V terminals, any video
entryphones that receive the call from this module will switch on
but will not show a valid image.
This is not a malfunction. It is however possible to make the
module function in audio mode only, by disabling video trans-
mission in SaveProg or by following the "Configuration" proce-
dure described below (in chapter: Configuration - Enabling the
camera).
Both modules are moreover equipped with:
- full-duplex audio with removal of the Larsen effect;
- automatic gain control on the power supplied by the loud-
speaker, depending on the type of installation;
- automatic configuration of indoor unit addresses;
- automatic configuration of speech unit addresses;
- light sensor function for automatically adjusting the bright-
ness according to the ambient light.
- four conventional indoor unit call buttons in two rows (2+2).
- can manage up to 84 button calls, using the additional button
modules 41010.
- control of an electric lock connected directly to terminals S+
and S- and connection of a local additional button for lock
opening at terminals CA+ and CA- (terminals CA+ and CA-
can alternatively be configured via SaveProg software as the
input of a sensor for signalling "Door Open".
- front MiniUSB connector for connecting a PC via a USB-Min-
iUSB cable, for configuration using the Due Fili Plus system
management software "Save Prog", which can be download-
ed from the website www.vimar.com.
- Standard configurations can be made by using the four front
call buttons and their four indicator LEDs.
- Front LEDs to signal: call in progress/communication active;
lock command activation; no communication, panels in paral-
lel or directly involved in the call (building complex) and one
of these is already engaged in a conversation.
- input for optional local additional power supply unit (with pow-
er supply unit 6923)
*
Impaired hearing function for people wearing a hearing aid.

Technical specifications

- Power supply from Due Fili Bus, via terminals B1 and B2:
28VDC nominal.
- Minimum voltage on terminals B1 and B2: 21VDC
- Local power via terminals E+, E- if the electronic unit needs to
be powered via an additional power supply unit. The additional
power supply unit should be installed if the system's maximum
consumption exceeds the power supply unit's capacity.
- Absorption from Bus or from additional power supply unit:

The maximum current delivered to the additional electronic
modules (back panel) is 500mA (maximum 8 additional
modules).
Refer to the additional modules for sizing the load on the
back panel and on the bus.
- Operating temperature: -25 °C / +55°C.
- Video output signal 16 dBm
- Protection class: IP54
- Protection rating against impact: IK08 (Pixel), IK10 (Pixel
