2 Applications
This pocket transmitter serves for connecting an
electret headband microphone (e. g. HSE-110
by "img Stage Line"). This system allows wire-
less transmission of music and speech to a
receiver operating at the same frequency as the
transmitter. The range is approx. 30 m and
depends on local conditions.
It is possible to combine e. g. the following
receivers from the "img Stage Line" range with
the TXS-8..HSE transmitters:
suitable for
Type
TXS-820HSE
TXS-800

3 Safety Notes
The transmitter is suitable for indoor use only.
Protect it against dripping water and splash
water, high air humidity, and heat (admissible
ambient temperature range 0 – 40 °C).
For cleaning only use a dry, soft cloth, by no
means chemicals or water.
No guarantee claims for the transmitter and
no liability for any resulting personal damage
or material damage will be accepted if the
transmitter is used for other purposes than
originally intended, if it is not correctly con-
nected, operated, or not repaired in an expert
way.
If the transmitter is to be put out of oper-
ation definitively, take it to a local recy-
cling plant for a disposal which is not
harmful to the environment.
Dead batteries or defective rechargeable bat-
teries do not belong in the household rubbish,
always take them to a special waste disposal
(e. g. collective container at your retailer).
4 Setting into Operation
1) Open the battery compartment. Insert a 9 V
battery with the positive and negative poles as
indicated in the battery compartment (fig. 2).
2) Fasten the transmitter on your belt by means
of the clip (3). If required, turn the clip by 90°
(locks into place). For this purpose, slightly
release the screw on the clip and then retight-
en it.
3) Put on the headband microphone and con-
nect it to the jack (5) on the transmitter.
4) Switch on the transmitter with the sliding
suitable for
switch POWER (2). The red LED (1) lights up
TXS-822HSE
as a power indicator. If it fails to light up or if
TXS-802
it only shows a dim light, the battery is ex-
TXS-842
hausted and must be replaced.
Slide the switch POWER to the left stop to
TXS-860
position ON. In mid-position, the transmitter
is mute, i. e. it is switched on but no sound is
transmitted.
5) Speak into the microphone. Advance the con-
trol VOL (4) to such an extent that the recei-
ver is not overloaded, i. e. that the transmis-
sion signal is not distorted.
6) Remember to switch off the transmitter after
operation. If it is not used for a longer period
(e. g. more than a week), the battery should be
removed to prevent any damage to the trans-
mitter caused by potential battery leakage.
