Maintenance

mySPIN 6 is normally maintenance-free. Clean unit only when it is not plugged
into an electrical outlet. When necessary, the housing and rotor can be wiped
using a damp cloth and a mild, non‐corrosive detergent.
WARNING

UV radiation, either natural or man‐made. In addition to cracks;
discoloration, softening, or crazing of the plastic materials can
occur. Corrosion can also occur to the metal parts which are part
of the SnapSpin
Ensure the rotor is protected from corrosion and mechanical
damage. The rotor must be cleaned with a neutral cleaning liquid.
Ensure all parts are dry prior to operation.
Notice
The transport box can be cleaned using soap, water, bleach mixture, IPA &
Ethanol. It is autoclavable at 121°C for 15 minutes.
WARNING
damage the transport box. The box shall be unlocked and open
during autoclaving with the silicone seal left in place.
