7. FAQ

Problem / Display message: Implausible measured values
Caused by
Calibration in air not performed
Incorrect material or no material
selected
Uneven surface characteristic
Surface too damp
Characteristic of screed substrate: pipes/
underfloor heating, etc.
Sensor too cold, dew forming on sensor
Sensor damaged / deformed
Calibration of device required
Problem / Display message: Floor Check Sensor not detected
Caused by
Plug not seated correctly
Plug/Sensor damaged / deformed
Problem / Display message: Display on measuring device blank
Caused by
Battery discharged
Measuring device damaged
Remedy
Reinsert the sensor and when prompted
Calibration OK? hold the sensor in the air
Press OK in measuring mode and use the
arrow keys to select the correct screed
material
Repeat measurements at various positions
Measure at another position
Measure at another position
Allow to warm up to ambient temperature
Contact customer service
Check the calibration date on the sensor
and contact customer service if needed
