GENERAL CHARACTERISTICS

With ALCAD's video door entry system, you will be able to control the entry of outsiders to your
property and identify persons who call. Since this system is equipped with a confi dentiality
feature, only one monitor is active at any given moment, thereby ensuring that conversations
between a dwelling and a caller always remain completely private. The automatic switch-on
system allows you to view the image captured by the camera of the entrance panel without
fi rst having received a call. Automatic switch-on can be useful for security purposes, or when,
for whatever reason, one wishes to establish communication with the entrance panel. As an
additional feature, the monitor keeps an automatic visual record of visitors whose calls are
unanswered. When a call has not been answered, the monitor automatically saves an image
of the person who has made the call. The monitor stores images of missed calls (see page 21).
