1. Before cleaning disconnect the ice maker
from the mains.
2. Wash the container, stirrer and lid in mild
detergent.
3. Wipe the motor unit clean with a soft cloth.
1.
Prepare the ice cream mixture by following
the instructions in the enclosed recipe
book. lf you are preparing a mixture that
must be boiled first, do so on the day
before you intend to use it so that it will
have plenty of time to cool down. For
pureeing fruit or mixing, we recommend an
ESGE hand blender.
2.
Cool the ice cream mixture thoroughly in
the freezer before use.
3.
Remove the container from the freezer and
place it on the motor unit. Use the
container immediately, otherwise the liquid
will start to melt.
4.
Insert the stirrer (large ring on top) in the
container.
5.
Place the lid on the motor unit, with the
blades in the base of the lid inserted in the
slots in the motor unit. The upper ring of
the stirrer must fit into the holders at the
inner side of the lid. The lid is correctly in
place if you can turn it easily to the left.
6.
Turn the unit on
LOW for standard ice cream
HIGH for soft ice cream
and immediately pour the ice cream
mixture into the container through the
opening in the lid. The volume of the ice
cream will increase during freezing, so do
not fill it right up to the top. Leave about
2 cm free. You will notice that the
container
and
ensuring an especially fine result.
7.
Let the ice master work until the ice cream
has the desired consistency. This may take
15 to 30 minutes, depending on the
ingredients.
8.
Do not add too much alcohol and add it
only at the end of freezing, as alcohol will
increase the freezing time.
9.
If the ice cream sets too hard, the
container may lift out of its guides in the
motor unit. This is a safety feature
intended to prevent damage to the stirrer
and not a fault with the machine.

5. The container must be fully dry when you

container.
11. Ice cream should have a soft consistency.
If you prefer it harder, place the container
in the freezer for a longer period.
12. If you are not going to consume the ice
cream immediately, do not leave it in the
container for more than 30 minutes in the
freezer. Instead, transfer it to a sealed
freezing container.
General remarks
-
Only use ripe fruit for fruit ice cream.
-
Only use very fresh eggs.
-
You may substitute milk by sweet cream or
sweet cream by milk.
-
The more sweet cream is used, the more
creamy the ice cream becomes.
-
Sugar can be substituted by honey, syrup or
sweetener.
-
Milk can be replaced by soy milk.
-
Fresh ice cream is most delicious. If you
want to store the ice cream over a longer
period, we recommend to add 30 g ice
cream base. Ice cream base
becomes too hard.
-
If you prefer hard ice cream put the ice
mixture into the freezer for 15-30 minutes
before preparing the ice cream in the ice
cream maker. Particularly in summer the
ambient temperatures in the refrigerator are
higher due to frequent opening of the doors
and to higher ambient temperatures.
-
The ice cream mixture must at least have
refrigerator temperatures before being filled
into the ice cream maker. The colder it is,
the shorter the preparation time (15 to 30
min.).
