the improper use of the appliance. Children must not play with the
appliance. Cleaning and maintenance operations performed by the
user shall not be carried out by children, if they are not older than 8
years and under supervision.
BEFORE YOU PUT THE MIXER INTO OPERATION
Before first use, wash the beaters and hooks in warm soapy water. Then rinse the accessories well with clear
water and wipe dry, see the procedure in the chapter Cleaning and maintenance.
Before using a hand mixer, make sure the power supply plug is pulled out of the socket and the speed
selector is set to 0.
1.
Select the desired accessory – it depends on the desired type of mixing:
Beaters are designed for processing sponge cake batter, egg whites, whipped cream, mayonnaise and
GB
puree. They are also very suitable for the mixing/stirring sauces and custard powder. Kneading hooks are
used for preparing yeast dough or puff pastry dough.
Use the hook to prepare easily and quickly potato dough for dumplings and potato pancakes as well.
NOTE: Make sure that the whisks or hooks are fully inserted into the correct openings, otherwise the mixing
results could be affected.
NOTE: You can always only use a single accessory at a time.

OPERATION OF THE HAND MIXER
Attention: When installing kneading hooks, make sure that they are correctly positioned – see fig. 1.
1.
Insert appropriate accessories in the mixer. Connect the power plug into the power socket.
2. Switch the speed selection to the required speed and start to mix.
The mixer will run at the highest speed, if you press the TURBO button.
Tip: First insert the whisks or the hooks into the foods and then start mixing and gradually increase the
speed so as to avoid splashing out the bowl contents.
When adding dry ingredients use the slowest speed to avoid the "snow storm" effect.
3.
Operation at maximum should not exceed 5 minutes and between two such consecutive cycles must be
a break of at least 10 minutes. When kneading yeast dough set the speed selection at 1 or 2, and then set
it to maximum – in this way you will achieve better results. As soon as the mix is complete, turn the speed
selection to the whisk release position and pull out the power plug from the power socket.
4. Use a spatula to wipe off the remaining dough or mix on the whisks or hooks.
5.
Removal of beaters/hooks: loosely grip the beaters or hooks and firmly press the beaters eject button.
