▷ Check the scan result and, if required, re-scan with the button

▷ Follow the software instructions.
▷ Remove the upper jaw.
▷ Using the required spacer plate (0, 1, 2 or 1+2), position the lower jaw within the measuring range in
the scanner (see section 6.2).
▷ Select the number of spacer plates.
▷ Perform a 2D scan.
▷ Under Scan type, select
▷ Start the 3D scan with the button
▷ Check the scan result and, if required, re-scan with the button
▷ Follow the software instructions.
▷ Remove the lower jaw together with the model set-up (see Fig. 3 on page 30)
▷ Position both models in the fixator.
NOTE:
The hinged upper element of the fixator may not be put into the scanner when not secured (affixed)!
▷ Firmly tighten the screw on the rear side of the fixator!
▷ Afterwards, tighten the lateral screw.
