HEAT MODE -

The heat mode keeps prepared dishes warm on the cooking zone. The selected cooking zone is on at a low power.
The power of the cooking zone is controlled in such a way by the heat mode, that the dish in the pan remains around 65°C.
The hot food that is ready to be eaten does not change in flavour and does not get stuck to the bottom of the pan.
The heat mode can also be used for melting butter or chocolate, for example.
Caution: the heat mode is not suitable for heating up cold food.
The heat mode functions best with a suitable pan with flat bottom, so that the sensor in the cooking zone is able to measure
the temperature properly.
The heat mode can be used on any cooking zone.
To prevent bacteria from developing in the food, we recommend that you do not keep the meals warm for a long period of
time. The control panel automatically switches off the heat mode after 2 hours.

The heat mode
• Select the required cooking zone
• Adjust the temperature with the + and - keys on the heat mode
• The display states . The heat mode is set.
To switch off the heat mode, you select the required cooking zone. Touch the - key to reduce the power to [0] or press the
accompanying cooking zone key
If the cooking zone is hot, the display shows a [H] instead of an [0].
QUICK BOIL TIMER -
The quick boil timer can be used to switch a selected cooking zone to the highest power for a certain period of time.
After that, the appliance switches back to the set power (boil position). The boiling time depends on the set boiling position -
see table below.
To switch on the quick boil timer, proceed as follows:
• Select the required cooking zone
• Adjust the power with the + and - keys to the required position - such as 7.
• Press once more on the cooking zone key
cooking zone is heating at maximum power for 2 minutes.
• After 2 minutes the quick boiling timer stops and automatically switches the power back to the set position, in this case 7.
The quick boil timer can be stopped sooner by selecting the cooking zone and adjusting the power.
