Nebenwirkungen
Bisher sind keine systemischen Nebenwirkungen bekannt. In Einzelfällen ist eine
Hypersensibilität oder Kontaktallergie gegen Bestandteile des Materials nicht
auszuschließen.
Hinweise zur Anwendung
Beschädigungen des Gingivaschutzes durch Zahnseide oder andere Materialien
vermeiden. Keinen beschädigten Gingivaschutz verwenden.
Empfohlene Anwendung
1. Arbeitsgebiet reinigen.
2. Bei Zahnengstand: Zähne mit Keilen separieren.
3. Gingivaschutz durch leichtes Auseinanderziehen der Laschen vordehnen.
4. Gingivaschutz über die betroffenen Zähne positionieren und Laschen
auseinanderziehen (Fig. 1).
5. Interdentalstege des Gingivaschutzes approximal positionieren.
Hinweis: Der mittlere Interdentalsteg dient zum Schutz des Arbeitsgebiets (Fig. 2: A).
6. Gingivaschutz in Richtung Gingiva ziehen, bis die Interdentalstege im
Approximal bereich liegen (Fig. 2).
7. Gingivaschutz entspannen (Fig. 3).
8. Gingivaschutz an den isolierten Zähnen zervikal umklappen.
9. Laschen nach zervikal umklappen (Fig. 4).
10. Ggf. Keile entfernen.
11. Korrekten Sitz des Gingivaschutzes überprüfen und ggf. korrigieren (Fig. 5).
12. Bei Bedarf zusätzliche Trockenlegungsmaßnahmen (z.B. Watterollen,
Absaugen) durchführen.
13. Behandlung durchführen.
14. Gingivaschutz entfernen und entsorgen.
Entsorgung
Das Produkt nach Gebrauch im Hausmüll entsorgen.
Lagerung und Haltbarkeit

Bei Raumtemperatur (15 bis 25 °C/59 bis 77 °F) trocken lagern!

Instructions for use
Product description
The gingival protection device is comprised of silicone and is used to facilitate a
relatively dry environment in the proximal area between two teeth and to protect
the gingiva against dental materials.
Indications
Establishing a relatively dry environment in the case of complete dentition, for
example when using Icon or Composite filling materials.
Contraindications
•
Not suitable for establishing absolutely dry environments.
•
Do not use in cases of allergies to one of the ingredients or in the event of
contact allergies.

Side effects
No systemic side effects are known to date. Hypersensitivity to components of the
material or contact allergies cannot be excluded in individual cases.
Instructions for use
Avoid damaging the gingival protection device with dental floss or other materials.
Do not use damaged gingival protection devices.
Recommended use
1. Clean the working area.
2. If the teeth are very close together: separate the teeth using a wedge.
3. Pre-stretch the gingival protection device by gently pulling the tabs apart.
4. Place the gingival protection device over the affected teeth and pull the tabs
apart (Fig. 1).
5. Place the interdental section of the gingival protection device in the proximal
position.
Note: The middle interdental section is used to protect the working area (Fig. 2: A).
6. Pull the gingival protection device towards the gingiva until the interdental
sections are positioned in the proximal area (Fig. 2).
7. Release the gingival protection device (Fig. 3).
8. Fold the gingival protection device cervically where the teeth are isolated.
9. Fold the tabs cervically (Fig. 4).
10. Remove wedges as appropriate.
11. Verify that the gingival protection device is properly seated and correct if
required (Fig. 5).
12. Further measures to facilitate a dry environment (e.g. cotton rolls, aspiration)
can be carried out as required.
13. Perform treatment.
14. Remove the gingival protection device and discard.
Disposal
After use, dispose of the product in household waste.
Storage and shelf life

Store in a dry place (15-25°C/59-77°F) at room temperature.

Do not use after the expiration date!
