Convection Blower

1. Before beginning any component
replacement, be certain the unit is
unplugged and thoroughly cooled down.
2. Freestanding: Remove the right side
panel as previously detailed in this
manual on Page 42 in the "Exhaust
Blower Cleaning" section. Fireplace
Insert: The unit will need to be at least
partially removed from the fireplace
opening (or alternatively, the surround
kit and side panels can be removed to
access the blower).
3. Detach the convection blower from the
wiring harness before loosening the four
screws which secure it to the convection
shroud of the stove.
4. After loosening and removing the four
screws which hold the blower to the
stove, remove the blower from the
stove.
5. Installation of the new blower is
performed in reverse of removal;
remember to reconnect the new blower
to the wiring harness before reinstalling
the side panel.

REPLACING COMPONENTS

Combustion Blower

1. Before beginning any component
replacement, be certain the unit is
unplugged and thoroughly cooled down.
2. Freestanding: Remove the left side
panel as previously detailed on page 42.
Fireplace Insert: Remove the unit from
the fireplace.
3. Disconnect the venting system from the
exhaust blower, and disconnect the
exhaust blower from the stove wiring
harness. Loosen and remove the
thermal sensor screw on the top of the
exhaust blower outlet using a 5/16"
wrench.
4. Loosen and remove all five screws
which hold the exhaust blower to the
exhaust blower tube. Once the screws
have been removed, the blower can be
lifted up and out of the stove.
5. Reinstallation is the exact opposite of
the steps above; however be certain to
check the condition of the exhaust
blower gasket and replace if necessary.
