Warnings
Never open the casing or try to repair the clippers yourself. As well

as the hazards involved, any unauthorized opening automatically
cancels the guarantee.
Keep the clippers out of the reach of small children or handicapped

persons. These clippers are not designed for use by persons (including
children) with restricted physical, sensorial or mental capacities, or
persons with insufficient experience or knowledge, unless such use is
made via a person responsible for their safety, or under monitoring
or prior instructions concerning use of the clippers.
Never throw the clippers into a fire.

Switch the clippers off before changing the accessories.

Never insert an object in the cutter blades, whether the clippers are

running or switched off.
Use only the accessories supplied or those available from the dealer.

Do not use the equipment in ambient temperatures below 0°C or

above 40°C.
The clippers heat up slightly during use; this is not a sign that they

are faulty.
The clippers comply with the European Union directives covering

electronic compatibility.
1.4 Guarantee
The guarantee is registered on the Web site WWW.JACQUES-SEBAN.COM.
Log on to the site, and click on "Guarantee registration". Fill in the form and
attach your proof of purchase. Keep carefully the registration number that is sent
to you in an email confirming registration. You will be asked to quote that number
for any work on your equipment.
The clippers are guaranteed for one (1) year, including parts and labour, covering all
material or manufacturing defects. The blades are ordinary parts that are subject to
normal wear and tear, and as such they are not covered by the manufacturer's
guarantee. If necessary, contact the importer / dealer at the address shown on the
back cover page. Any defects not affecting, or only slightly affecting, the value or
the functionality of the equipment, are also excluded. The dealer's stamp, date and
signature are required for any claims under guarantee to be taken into consideration
concerning the equipment. Proof of purchase must be attached to the guarantee
card. The guarantee is cancelled if the equipment is opened by the purchaser or by
