5.6.2 Manual Mode

5.6.2.1 Width Manual Entry
Rim width is entered via the menu keys, the rim
diameter can be determined manually .
If rim width is not given on the rim, it can be measured
on standard rims using the optional rim width callipers
(Fig. 5-13 – Ref. no. EAA0247G21A).
— Access the ENTERING RIM DATA (Fig. 5-14)
screen and select the Menu key F4
— Read the nominal diameter on the rim or tyre and
note it down.
— Press the menu key < or > (1, 2, Fig. 5-14) until the
required value is reached.
— Press the menu key F4 or OK to set the value.
Note: Rim width is displayed in 0.10" steps.
5.6.2.2 Distance Manual Entry
Position the gauge arm correctly
— Access the ENTERING RIM DATA screen and
select the Menu key F3 (Fig. 5-14).
• Read the arm extraction value on the gauged
column.
• Enter the value read previously using the appropriate
keys
< or > (1, 2, Fig. 5-14)

Read the nominal rim diameter directly on the rim
or tyre itself.
