Setting the Illumination

You can set the illumination both for the 3D illuminated cubes
and for the display.
The constant illumination (ON) doesn't work, when
you use the device with batteries. The weather stati-
on will automatically set to AUTO-illumination.

3D Illuminated Cubes

You can use the sliding switch on the back of the basic device
to switch between ON - AUTO - OFF:
ON - constant illumination
AUTO - illumination for the chosen interval
(see the "Setting the Illumination Interval" sec-
tion) for approx. 20 seconds in each case
OFF - illumination off.
If outside of the alarm time you press (LIGHT/
SNOOZE) on the basic device, you activate the il-
lumination of the illuminated cubes outside of the
intervals.
Setting the Illumination Interval
In AUTO mode, the illuminated cubes light up for a set interval.
1. Press the °C/°F button for longer than 2 seconds. On the
display, the interval which was set most recently fl ashes
(presetting of 5 minutes).
2. If you press repeatedly on the UP and DOWN buttons,
you can set a time interval of 5, 10, 20, 30 or 60 minutes.
3. Confi rm your choice with the °C/°F button.
Setting the Rotation of the Illumination
You can choose between individual illumination of the illumi-
nated cube which displays the current weather forecast and
