Putting Into Operation

1. Insert batteries into the basic device or connect it to the
mains plug before you insert batteries into the sensor.
You can only fully set the basic device once the sensor
has registered on the basic device. For this to happen,
the sensor should be located in the immediate vicin-
ity of the basic device.
2. On the display,
3. Use the SENSOR button to switch between the outside
temperature sensors 1, 2 and 3. You can set a dedicated
sensor for each channel.
4. On the display, "- -" and
indicate that the basis device is searching for the sensor.
5. Insert the batteries into the sensor. The LED lamp fl ashes
red roughly every 2 seconds.
6. While the LED lamp is fl ashing, you can use the SENSOR
button of the sensor to choose between the channels 1,
2 and 3.
7. Position the sensor and the basic device in an effective
transmission range (max. 30 m, as little interference as pos-
sible from solid objects, e.g. walls).
8. If the signal from a sensor is lost, use the SENSOR but-
ton to select the corresponding channel and press on the
SENSOR button for longer than 2 seconds. The signal is
searched for again.
– During the sensor search, you cannot make any other
settings.
– Even though the sensor is weather-resistant, it should
be protected from direct sunlight, rain and snow.
