4. Set the desired setting (see installation manual)
5. Remove the battery tab.
6. Close the cover.
7. Attach the sensor to the mounting plate by sliding
the keyhole slots in the back cover down onto the
mounting plate holding posts. The locking tab will
click as the sensor locks into place T.
280R External Temperature Probe
1. Ensure that the battery is removed from the
transmitter
2. Before connecting the probe to the DET8M, measure
the resistance, which should be between 70 kΩ and
130 kΩ at room temperature (22°C to 29°C).
3. Warm the T280R in your hand for 60 seconds to
verify that the resistance drops.
4. Insert the leads of the remote probe into the terminal
block and tighten the screws. The terminals are not
polarity sensitive.
