Installation requirements (DT8M, DTPI8M)
Install the sensor:
•
With its centre at a height of 2.3 m to 2.4 m above the ground
•
With the lowest or low sensitivity
•
Where animals cannot come within 1.8 m of the sensor by climbing on furniture or
other objects
•
Aimed away from stairways, furniture or other objects that can be climbed on by
pets
How to install
1. Open the sensor.
2. Screw the base to the wall.
3. Hold the batteries in place and pull out the battery
tab to power up the sensor.
4. Close the sensor.
