Ground fault circuit interrupters are therefore stipu-
DE
lated for the electrical installation of AHT cabinets in
stores. It is deemed practical that the AHT cabinets
EN
have their own ground fault circuit interrupter protec-
tion for the lighting.
IT
When using ground fault circuit interrupters, it is im-
portant to ensure that the circuit interrupters being
used are type "G" (surge current resistant). In order to
FR
enhance the performance of the ground fault circuit
interrupter, we suggest the following:

NL
It is preferable for each cabinet to have 1 ground fault
circuit interrupter for individually protecting the cabi-
DA
nets. With a combination of a fuse and circuit break-
er (ground fault circuit interrupter/miniature circuit
FI
breaker), a maximum of 2 cabinets are supplied for
each circuit protection.

7. Commissioning and
function
The cabinet should have a minimum temperature of
+16 °C (60.8 °F) before being commissioned.
All cabinets are equipped with a glass or insulating
lid as standard. These lids are required to operate the
cabinets correctly.
Lid variants:
- Sliding glass lid
- Insulating lid
- Hinged glass lid (for Sao Paulo H 135 and Sao Paulo
H 175)
CAUTION
Risk of injury when closing the hinged
glass lid.
Hands could become trapped.
Let go of the hinged glass lid before it
closes.
Do not rest hands on the cover frame.
NOTE
– applies to all lid variants
closed. Otherwise, the cooling surfaces could ice
up. If this happens, the required temperatures can-
not be maintained.
No objects should be trapped between the glass
lid and the cover frame.
The lids may only be opened briefly for the stor-
ing and removal of products. Afterwards, it must
be completely closed again.
The bulging that may occur during operation does not
have a negative impact on how the cabinets function.
Important information for handling D-Ice cabi-
nets:
In order to precisely maintain the temperature distribu-
tion required, the cabinet is equipped with an internal
fan, which is located in a stainless steel housing. The
-
basic equipment of the cabinet includes hanging bas-
kets, in which the ice containers are placed. The two
outer hanging baskets are equipped with wall spacers.
