Explanation of control panel
1 Display with the set maximum
current on the top line and the
actual measured current being
used on the bottom line.
2 On/off switch for the back-
ground lighting for the display
and also the RESET button for
use if the current limiter has
been switched off due to over-
loading.
3+4 UP and DOWN keys used to
set the maximum permitted current in steps of 0.1A from 1A to 5A and in steps of
0.5A from 5A to the maximum value of 16A.
NB When using for the first time points A1 and A2 must be checked.
A1 The Shore Power Protector is delivered with the following factory settings:
Language: English
You can always reset the Shore Power Protector back to these settings by holding
all three keys in simultaneously for at least 5 seconds.
A2 These settings can be changed easily after which they will be saved so that you only
have to do this once.
The language options menu is accessed by pressing the two right-hand keys (UP and
DOWN) simultaneously once. Then use the UP and DOWN keys to select the desired
language (Dutch, English, German or French) and finish by pressing the RESET key.
The options menu for characteristic B or C (see below point 5.0 for an explanation of this;
select B if you are not sure) is accessed by pressing the two right-hand keys (UP and
DOWN) simultaneously twice. Then use the UP and DOWN keys to select B or C and fin-
ish by pressing the RESET key.
The options menu for the Buzzer (acoustic alarm) is accessed by pressing the two right-
hand keys (UP and DOWN) simultaneously three times. Use the arrow keys to select On
or Off and finish by pressing the RESET key.
