6 TROUBLESHOOTING

ANOMALIES
The pH/RedOx reading is not
stable.
Error in gauging the electro-
des.
The pH and/or RedOx poten-
tial readings do not vary as
expected in accordance with
the type and amount of dis-
pensed corrector liquid or
solid.
The dispenser pump/s and
the electrovalve (when Cl/Br
tablets are used) do not work
and the relays are activated.
The physical-chemical ana-
lysis of the swimming pool
water, specifically the pH and
Cl or Br level, does not
correspond to the reading of
the Easywatch unit. (The-re is
a large difference).

CAUSES
The reading of the electrodes
varies in an uncontrolled
manner. They may be dama-
ged.
The results of gauging lead
you to believe that there has
been an error in the gauging
process or that the electro-
des are faulty.
It may be that the dispenser
pump is not primed or does
not work properly; the elec-
trovalve (when Cl/Br tablets
are used) does not work; the
chemical corrector products
have run out.
Faulty connection.
a) Filter cartridge is dirty.
b) Electrodes are dirty.
c) Electrodes are worn.
d) The electrodes are not
gauged.

SOLUTIONS
Check the connections and
the wire of the electrodes. If
the problem persists, replace
the electrodes.
Repeat gauging making sure
that the standard solutions
are in perfect preservation
condition. Check the connec-
tions and the electrode wire.
If the problem persists, repla-
ce the electrode.
Check the correct working
order of the dispenser pump
and the electrovalve (when
Cl/Br tablets are used); check
that there are chemical
corrector products.
Check the electrical
connection.
a) Clean.
b) Clean with cleaning
solution.
c) Change them.
d) Gauge them.
