"LOW-EXTENSION'' mode

7.4.1

Description

In ''LOW-EXTENSION' mode the 8XTi and SB18i enclosures are connected to the same LA4 / LA4X / LA4 / LA4XX
amplified controller thus limiting the number of required units.
The bandwidth of the system is extended down to 32 Hz.
The recommended ratio is two 8XTi for one SB18i.
7.4.2

Connecting the 8XTi and SB18i to the LA4 / LA4X

The 8XTi and SB18i enclosures connect to the LA4 / LA4X / LA4 / LA4XX outputs as follows: maximum two 8XTi in
parallel or 1 SB18i per output channel. Therefore, a single LA4 / LA4X / LA4 / LA4XX amplified controller can drive up
to four 8XTi and two SB18i enclosures (see Figure 6).
!
This mode requires a custom preset.
Refer to the LA4 / LA4X user manual and to the LA NETWORK MANAGER tutorial for
additional instructions.
IMPORTANT
Note: The system resources are optimized for two or four 8XTi and two SB18i per LA4 / LA4X.
