"LOW-EXTENSION'' mode

7.2.3.1

Description

In ''LOW-EXTENSION'' mode the PASSIVE 12XT and SB18 enclosures are connected to the same LA4 / LA4X
amplified controller thus limiting the number of required units.
The bandwidth of the system is extended down to 32 Hz.
The recommended ratio is one PASSIVE 12XT for one SB18.
7.2.3.2

Connecting the PASSIVE 12XT and SB18 to the LA4 / LA4X

The PASSIVE 12XT and SB18 enclosures connect to the LA4 / LA4X outputs as follows: channels 1 and 3 are dedicated
to one SB18 enclosure each, and channels 2 and 4 to one PASSIVE 12XT each. Therefore, a single LA4 / LA4X
amplified controller can drive up to two PASSIVE 12XT and two SB18 enclosures (see Figure 8).
!
A maximum of one SB18 enclosure can be connected per LA4 / LA4X output.
IMPORTANT
Note: The system resources are optimized for two PASSIVE 12XT and two SB18 per LA4 / LA4X.
