1. FRANCAIS
Vous venez d'acquérir un produit INVACARE
suivant les normes de qualité et de sécurité les plus sévères et sont conformes aux
directives européennes (MDD 93/42/EEC). Nos barres de maintien sont garanties deux ans.
L'usure normale et l'utilisation non judicieuse ne sont pas couvertes par la garantie.

INVACARE ne peut être tenu responsable pour toute blessure occasionnée par une
utilisation impropre des ses barres de maintien.
Il est impératif de respecter les consignes d'utilisation et d'entretien suivantes :
· Vérifier que le produit vous est livré en parfait état avant toute utilisation.
· Pour votre sécurité, le produit devra être impérativement installé par un professionnel
reconnu.
· Les barres d'appui, de maintien ou la poignée seront fixées sur un mur suffisamment
résistant (briques silico-calcaire ou équivalent). La fixation (vis, chevilles) devra
impérativement être adaptée à la nature du mur (briques, cloisons alvéolées, carreaux
de plâtre, etc.).
· Ne pas dépasser le poids maximum utilisateur
indiqué sur l'étiquette du produit.
· Toujours veiller à ce que le produit soit adapté à vos besoins. En cas de doute, consulter
un professionnel de la santé.
· Les pièces usées, endommagées ou manquantes devront être immédiatement
remplacées par un réparateur agréé.
· Ne pas laisser ou stocker le produit à l'extérieur.
· Vérifier périodiquement la stabilité et la rigidité du produit et le cas échéant le serrage
correct des vis, ainsi que l'état des embouts caoutchouc.
INSTALLATION
Se référer aux schémas en fin du guide pour l'installation :
· Modèles H140, H141, H142, H 143, H 144, H145, voir le schéma n° 2.
· Modèle H 146, voir le schéma n° 3.
· Modèles 7760, 7793 voir le schéma n° 2.
· Modèle 7761, voir le schéma n° 4.
· Modèle 7790, voir le schéma n° 3.
· Les barres peuvent être fixées librement. Le schéma n°1 montre la fixation habituelle
d'une barre de maintien courte.
· Placer la barre d'appui à l'endroit requis et repérer l'emplacement des trous de fixation.
· Percer et fixer en utilisant des chevilles appropriées suivant le type de support.
· Attention, il est impératif de placer les rondelles en acier inoxydable (livrées avec le
produit) dans les cavités prévues à cet effet sur la poignée.
· Sur un mur en briques, utiliser les 4 vis (rep. 1), 4 chevilles (rep. 3) et 4 rondelles
fournies. Sur tout autre type de paroi, utiliser des supports adaptés.
· Nous vous recommandons d'utiliser un tournevis dont l'embout est suffisamment long
(> 10 cm) afin de ne pas endommager la poignée.

2. ENGLISH
You have just purchased an INVACARE
manufactured to the most rigorous quality and safety standards and conform to the
European directives (MDD 93/42/EEC). Our retention bars are guaranteed for two years.
Normal wear and inappropriate use are not covered under the guarantee. INVACARE
cannot be held responsible for any injury caused by improper use of its retention bars.
The following operating and maintenance instructions must be observed:
· Check that the product has been delivered in perfect condition before you use it.
· To ensure your safety, the product must only be installed by a recognised professional.
· The support and retention bars and the handle must be fastened to a sufficiently
resistant wall (silico-limestone bricks, or the equivalent). The fastening method (screws,
plugs) must be suitable for the type of wall (bricks, hollow partitions, plasterboard, etc.).
· Do not exceed the maximum operating load
product label.
· Always ensure that the product is suitable for your requirements; in case of doubt,
check with a health professional.
· Worn, damaged or missing components must be replaced immediately by an approved
repairer.
· Do not leave or store the product out of doors.
· Periodically check the stability and rigidity of the product and, where applicable, that the
screws are correctly tightened and the rubber end caps in good condition.
· Take particular care when using the product on damp surfaces.
INSTALLATION
For installation, please refer to the drawings at the end of the manual:
· For models H140, H141, H142, H 143, H 144, H145, see Drawing No. 2.
· For models H 146, see Drawing No. 3.
· For models 7760, 7793 see Drawing No. 2.
· For model 7761, see Drawing No. 4.
· For model 7790, see Drawing No. 3.
· The bars can be fastened freely. Drawing No.1 shows the normal fixing position for a
short retention bar.
· Position the bar in the position desired and mark the location of the fixing holes.
· Drill and fasten using the appropriate plugs for the type of support.
· Warning: the stainless steel washers (supplied with the product) must be inserted in the
spaces provided for them on the handle.
· On a brick wall, use the 4 screws (1), the 4 plugs (3) and the 4 washers provided. On any
other type of wall, use appropriate supports.
· We recommend that you use a screwdriver with a sufficiently long end (> 10 cm) to
avoid damaging the handle.
MAINTENANCE
Clean regularly with a normal household cleaner. For disinfection in hospital environments,
please follow the hygiene specialist's recommendations.

Sie haben ein INVACARE Produkt gekauft. Unsere Produkte werden nach strengsten

europäischen Richtlinien (MDD 93/42/EWG). Wir gewähren zwei Jahre Garantie auf unsere
Haltegriffe. Der normale Verschleiß und eine nicht sinnvolle Benutzung werden von der
Garantie nicht gedeckt. INVACAREâ kann nicht für Verletzungen haftbar gemacht werden,
die durch einen unsachgemäßen Gebrauch der Haltegriffe verursacht werden.
Folgende Gebrauchs- und Pflegeanweisungen müssen unbedingt eingehalten
werden:
· Prüfen Sie vor jedem Gebrauch, ob sich das Produkt in einwandfreiem Zustand befindet.
· Für Ihre Sicherheit muss das Produkt unbedingt von einem anerkannten Fachmann
installiert werden.
· Die Stütz- und Haltegriffe oder der Griff müssen an einer ausreichend starken Mauer
(Kalksandsteinziegel oder gleichwertig) befestigt werden. Die Befestigung (Schrauben,
Dübel) muss unbedingt an die Mauerart (Ziegel, wabenförmige Trennwände, Gipsplatten,
usw.) angepasst werden.
· Das auf dem Produktetikett angegebene Höchstgewicht für Benutzer
angegebene Höchstlast dürfen nicht überschritten werden.
· Immer darauf achten, daß das Produkt Ihren Bedürfnissen entspricht. Im Zweifelsfall
fragen Sie bitte einen Arzt, Therapeuten oder Ihren Fachhändler.
· Verschlissene, beschädigte bzw. fehlende Teile müssen sofort durch Ihren Fachhändler
ersetzt werden.
· Das Produkt niemals im Freien abstellen bzw. aufbewahren.
· Regelmäßig die Stabilität und die Festigkeit des Produktes und gegebenenfalls den festen
Sitz der Schrauben und den Zustand der Gummikappen überprüfen.
· Die Produkte dürfen nur mit größter Aufmerksamkeit auf feuchten Flächen eingesetzt
werden.

· Die Stangen können frei befestigt werden. Die Zeichnung Nr. 1 zeigt die gewöhnliche
