Description and use

The product you have purchased is a reversible cei-
ling agitator fan unit.
NORDIK ECO series units have
been designed for household
use.

Safety

Warning:
this symbol indicates that care must be
taken to avoid injury to the user
•Always use the product for the purpose it was inten-
ded, as specified in this booklet.
•After removing the product from its packaging,
ensure that it is not damaged. If in doubt please
contact an authorised Vortice Technical Assistance
Centre immediately.
•Never leave packaging parts within reach of children
or disabled persons.
•The use of any electric device requires compliance
with a few fundamental rules, including:
o Never touch it with wet or humid hands.
o Never touch it when barefoot.
•Do not use the unit in the presence of flammable
substances or vapours such as alcohol, insectici-
des, gasoline, etc.
•Any modification to the factory-fitted attachment
will invalidate the warranty and will free the manu-
facturer from any liability.
The unit may be used by chil-
dren over 8 years old and per-
sons with reduced physical,
sensory or mental capabilities,
or lacking in experience or
necessary knowledge, as long
as they are supervised, or after
they have received instructions
for the safe use of the unit and
on inherent dangers. Children
must not play with the unit.
Cleaning and maintenance to be
carried out by the user must not
be performed by children unless
supervised.

If you notice an unusual oscil-
lating motion, immediately
switch off the ceiling fan and
contact VORTICE, its assi-
stance centre or its qualified
personnel.
The maximum weight configura-
tion of a Vortice ceiling fan/agi-
tator does not exceed 12 Kg.
Replacement
system safety unit parts must be
carried out by Vortice personnel,
a Vortice Assistance Centre or
by qualified personnel.
Fan/agitator ceiling fastenings,
such as hooks or other devices,
must be able to support and/or
withstand a weight of at least 4
times the weight of the fan
(fig.3).
Suspension system assembly
must be carried out by Vortice
personnel, a Vortice Assistance
Centre or by suitably qualified
personnel.
The fan/agitator must be instal-
led in such a way that the blades
are positioned more than 2.3 m
over the floor level (fig.1).
•Do not make changes of any kind to the unit.
•Inspect unit conditions visually and periodically. If
imperfections are noted, do not use the unit and
immediately
contact
Technical Assistance Centre.
•The electrical system to which the product is con-
nected must comply with regulations in place.
•The unit must be correctly connected to an effective
earthing system as foreseen by current electrical
safety regulations. If doubts should arise, request
