13.5 VW Transporter T5/T6
➤ Remove driver's seat and lower console.
➤ Put the drive unit in place and then bolt to the seat console.
➤ Mount the control unit (4) and the
battery charger (5) behind the
driver's seat.
➤ Put the drive unit in place and then
bolt to the seat console.

NOTE
z Ensure that the RESET switch is easily accessible when installing the control
unit.
z Ensure the electronic motor is always well ventilated!
z When installing in an enclosed seat console an additional opening may
have to be created!
➤ Mount the control unit (4) to the rear wall. Use bolts (16.5) and feed nuts (16.12) for this.
➤ Mount the battery charger (5) in the seat console (double seat). Use bolts (16.8) for this.
➤ Apply the information sticker (15) to the instrument panel so that it is easily visible.
13.6 Citroen Jumper/Fiat Ducato/Peugeot Boxer

➤ Remove the heat shield above the exhaust silencer (4 x bolts).
➤ Remove the tool box under the double seat.
➤ Loosen the double seat and remove.

NOTE
To loosen the seat, unscrew the two rear clip bolts about halfway, then un-
screw the bolts at the front. Next push the seat backwards out of the clip
bolts, undo the plug connection and take out the seat.
➤ Remove the step covers, the lower cover of the B-piller and the inner wheel arch cover.
➤ Take out the storage compartment under the driver's seat.
