9.3 Slide Holder

Adjustable holder with integrated rotating stage
Fasten the adjustable holders (universal hold-
ers) (35.1) to the motorized cross-stage using
the two screws (35.4).
After the clamping screw (35.3) is released, the
universal holder can be moved sideways. This is
especially useful for long, horizontally clamped
pieces of evidence.
You can adjust the adapter sleeve (35.6) in the
segment guide to an angle of up to 90° after re-
leasing the clamping screw (35.2).

The adapter sleeve itself has a rotation device
with gradation (35.7) and can be fixed into place
using the clamping screw. The receptacles for
pieces of evidence listed below can be inserted
into the conical bore of the adapter sleeve
(35.6).
After the clamping screw (35.5) is unscrewed,
the entire unit can be rotated around its own
axis.
