4. Press the laser/backlight button to switch the laser pointer on or off; in
data-hold mode, press the laser/backlight button to switch the
backlight on or off.
5. When you release the measurement trigger, the hold mode is
automatically activated: the last measurement value remains on the
display until you press the measurement key again, or until the device
shuts off automatically (after approx. 35 seconds).
6. Note that the display is always on, while the laser is only on during
measurement.
Remarks: The temperature
 of a shiny or polished metal surface
 through a transparent surface such as glass
 of an object covered with frost, grime, oil
cannot be measured.
7.2 Measuring the Emissivity
1. Hold the setting button pressed to enter/exit the emissivity mode.
2. Adjust the emissivity value with the up/down button.

1. In normal mode, briefly press the setting button to review the different
