12. Starting and operating

The sieving time, interval and amplitude can be fed by one pair of entry keys for each function. With the left
key the set point descends, with the right key it ascends. When pressing one of the keys for a longer
period, the numbers pass quickly.
Starting the machine
Switch on the machine with the main switch (on the bottom side of the Separate Control Gear), all
indications of the display read 0.
Zeit / Time
The sieving time is preset in minutes (99 minutes maximum) and appears in the indication field of set
values. After the start the preset time runs backwards. The remaining time appears in the indication field of
actual values (lower indication field). Once the preset time has run down, the test sieving is finished.
Without feeding the sieving time (set point 00) the machine operates continuously.
Interval
Indication 00 = permanent use without interruption (do not use). Indication 01 – 99 = Sieving time in
seconds, interruption 1 second. The indication field of actual values shows the interval time running down.
Amplitude
The preset value for the amplitude can be fed by steps of 0.1mm up to 2.0 mm.
The indication field of actual values shows the value of the amplitude measured during the test sieving.
Start / Stop
This key starts the machine. The remaining sieving time appears in the indication field of actual values.
During the test sieving process the insert keys for the set points are blocked. After a stop, the remaining
sieving time appears in the indication field of actual values and the insert keys for the set points are
deblocked.
Continue
By pressing this key a test sieving interrupted with „Stop" is continued.
Store
By pressing this key 10 set points (time, interval, amplitude) can be stored and protected from power
failure. Insert the set points and press the key „Store/Speichern". Insert the storage place (01-10) flashing
in the left field of the indication of actual values and press again the key „Store / Speichern". The values are
stored.
Load
By pressing this key the desired storage place (01-10) can be called. After having pressed again on this
key and on the key „Start / Stop", the test sieving can be started.
Delete: Call the storage place by pressing the key „Load/Laden", set the values to 0 and press the key
„Store / Speichern".
