4.3 Activated carbon fi lters with
regeneration
The odour fi lter must be regenerated every
two months (or when indicated by the fi lter
saturation system, if included in this model)
by following the instructions listed below:
1. Disconnect the device from the
electrical network.
2. Extract the odour filter from the hood.
3. Remove the metal lid from the filter to
extract the activated carbon ceramic
cubes. Handle the cubes with care.
4. Place only the activated carbon ceramic
cubes in the oven at 200 degrees for 45
minutes.
5. Switch off the oven and wait one hour
before removing the cubes.
6. Clean the metal lid and plastic casing of
the filter using a moist cloth, to remove
any residual grease.
7. Place the activated carbon ceramic
cubes back in the plastic casing and
close the metal lid.
8. Place the odour filter back in the hood.
Caution! Before touching the activated
carbon ceramic cubes, make sure they
have cooled.
