To replace batteries slightly press on marked positions on left and right side of the cover and open forward. Remove batteries, insert 2 new AA size
batteries (direction as shown in the compartment) and close the cover.

transmitter with its infrared interface facing direct to the infrared interface of the receiver in a distance between 5 and 20 cm.
