INTENDED USE
This cable cutter is designed for professional copper and aluminum
cable cutting applications only.
DO NOT use for cutting steel cable or any bolts, rods, pipes or tubing,
etc.
DO NOT use under wet conditions or in presence of flammable liquids
or gases.
This cable cutter is a professional power tool. DO NOT let children
come into contact with the tool. Supervision is required when
inexperienced operators use this tool.
TRIGGER SWITCH (FIG. 2)
Squeezing the trigger switch (D) actuates the blade, while fully
releasing the trigger switch turns it off. Since the tool is equipped with
a brake, the movable blade (B) will stop as soon as the trigger switch
is fully released.
DIRECTIONAL/LOCK-OFF BUTTON (FIG. 2)
The position of directional/lock­off button (B) determines the direction
of the tool and whether the tool is locked­off. When changing the
position of the control button, be sure the trigger is released.
When the control button is pressed to the right side of the tool the
trigger switch (D) will forward/close the blades.
When the control button is pressed to the left side of the tool the
trigger switch will reverse/open the blades.
The center position of the control button locks the trigger switch in
the off position.
