1. Alarms and malfunctions

Contact your distributor if any other problems are experienced. As for all systems which use gases for medical
use, the OPTI-NO , the tubes and patient circuit used must be compatible.

2. Removing the OPTI-NO from a bottle

The device may only be removed from a bottle if it is no
longer pressurised. To obtain this condition, with the
electrical power supply still connected to the device

3. Interruption of the treatment

In the case of the administration of the NO to a patient
being interrupted temporarily, it is preferable to
disconnect the NO injection connector and the pa-
tient circuit inspiration detection connector.`
The pipes equipped with filters and connectors for
inspiration detection and NO injection must be changed
for each patient (ref. KB010600).
4. Cleaning - disinfection of the pres-
sure regulator and OPTI-NO casing
Disconnect the mains plug of the unit before cleaning it.
Do not immerse the pressure regulator and NO
supply unit assembly.
Do not clean with abrasive powders or solvents
(cetone, ester, etc.).
Clean the unit with a cloth or sponge slightly dampened
with soapy water or a wipe impregnated with an
