4. Scope of delivery

1 x Combination ladder (3-section or 2-section))
1 x Crossbar
1 x Use and Operating Instructions
Check that the contents are complete and check
for any possible transport damage before use.
Remove the packaging material.
Packaging material is not a children's toy;
there is a risk of suffocation if not handled
properly.

5. Instructions for assembly

Installing the crossbar:
1. Lay the combination ladder down. Unlock the front
ladder element [A-2] and the single ladder [G] at
the locking hook [D], raise slightly and move one
rung backwards. The foot pedal [A-3] is now readily
accessible. The crossbar [B] can now be removed.
Then lock the locking hooks on the ladder rungs
(see 6.3 Adjustment and locking mechanism with
locking hooks)
2. First unscrew a foot [B-1] and a stop screw [B-2]
on the crossbar [B] (Phillips screwdriver required).
3. Open foot pedal [A-3] and insert crossbar [B]
as shown.
4. Screw foot [B-1] and stop screw [B-2] on tightly
again onto the crossbar.
Pay attention to the correct installation position!
5. Align crossbar and close foot pedal.
6. For multi-purpose ladders with swivel base, the
crossbar is installed in the same order. Check the
correct installation position!
The combination ladder must only be used
with the crossbar installed.
