Remove the disk.
Place the handle over the stem (1).
Turn the handle counter-clockwise as far as it will
go (2).
Measure the temperature of the output water (3).
If the valve opens through hot, re-
verse the cartridge. See page 14.
If the maximum high temperature
is greater than 120°F or that
permitted by local plumbing code,
adjust the rotational limit stop. See
page 16.
Turn the water off.
Remove the handle (4).
Lubricate the cartridge o-ring using a small
amount of white plumber's grease.
Install the sleeve.
Install the escutcheon.
