8. Setting up unit using PC software

8.2 Analogue input

The following set-up can be done under the menu "Analogue
input":
8.2.1 Identifier
For exact identification of the measurement point an individual
identification text can be entered here (max. 10 characters).
8.2.2 Input signal
Here the input signal delivered by the sensor connected can be
selected.
0 - 20 mA
4 - 20 mA
0 - 1 V
PT100°C
PT100°F
8.2.3 Operating mode
- Possible set-up "Inactive'
Here the analogue input can be de-activated. There is no
indication of the analogue value in the display.
- Possible set-up "Instantaneous value"
The recorded values are stored in the units' memory as an
instantaneous value. Measurement scan time is every second.
The instantaneous value can be indicated in the display. The
instantaneous value is stored on the internal memory
dependent on the set-up storage cycle.
- Possible set-up "Average/min./max."
The recorded values are stored in the units' memory as
average/min./max. values. The instantaneous value is always
indicated in the display.
The values are stored in a buffer memory during the storage
cycle and once this has run out are accepted in the internal
memory. The storage cycle can be set-up (1 minute to 24
hours).
Hint: The preset storage cycle influences the storage capacity
(see chap. 11 memory capacity).
