Product care & Maintenance
1. Position the Repositioning Sling centrally on the bed with the label pointing
at the head end of the bed. The label side faced down towards the mattress.
2. Position the hangerbar carefully over the patient (across the patients
chest); connect the straps to each side of the hanger bar starting with the
head end straps, then the patients' hips straps and leg straps. For Lateral
transfer and Moving up in bed use a minimum of five straps on each side.
3. Check patient position and carefully make the required adjustment to
achieve the best comfort for the patient, especially that head is supported
and legs and knee's position is not causing any unattended force on knee
joints before lifting.
4. Raise the hanger bar until all straps are tense to make sure the straps
are securely attached.
5. Carefully perform the lift, repositioning or lateral transfer, whilst keeping
eye on the patient position and comfort.
6. At desired position, slowly lower the hanger bar until all straps can be
released from the hanger bar hooks.

3. Attach a minimum of four straps on one side of the sling to the hangerbar.
Use the straps at the patients shoulder and hip area. Use a minimum of
two hooks on the hangerbar.
4. Check patient position and carefully make the required adjustment to
achieve the best comfort for the patient.
5. Check the support of the head and that arms and legs are in the right position.
6. Raise the hanger bar until all straps are tense to make sure all straps
are securely attached.
7. Carefully perform the turning, whilst keeping eye on the patient position
and comfort.
8. At desired position, slowly lower the hanger bar and release the straps
from the hanger bar hooks.
The service life is expected to be 56 performed lifts, however this will be
subject to the actual conditions during use.
The Sling is disposable and designed for single patient use and should be
disposed after patient hospital stay or when soiled or subjected to liquid.
The sling should be stored in a dry and clean environment and the shelf
lifetime is 5 years in original packaging. Store in temperatures between
0°-40° C (+32°-104°F)
Max 454kg / 1000 lbs.
Always follow the instructions on the product label and check the sling for
deteriorations.
Mark the sling with the specific patient name and keep in dry and clean
environment.
This is a patient specific disposable sling, that must be disposed after
the patient has been discharged.
