The NEXT NXT-1 has a home screen that shows the protocol mode, the IP address or DMX
address, the DMX personality, and the current product temperature. To see the home screen,
press <MENU/ESC> repeatedly until it shows on the display.
To set whether the pan or tilt orientation is normal or inverted:
1.
Press <MENU/ESC> repeatedly to reach the main level of the display menu.
2.
Use <UP> or <DOWN> to select Motor Setup.
3.
Press <ENTER>.
4.
Use <UP> or <DOWN> to select Pan Inverse (for pan orientation) or Tilt Inverse (for tilt
orientation).
5.
Press <ENTER>.
6.
Use <UP> or <DOWN> to select from No (for normal) or Yes (for inverted).
7.
Press <ENTER>.
The motor offset determines where a DMX value of 0 is on the pan axis and tilt axis. To adjust
the pan offset or tilt offset:
1.
Press <MENU/ESC> repeatedly to reach the main level of the display menu.
2.
Use <UP> or <DOWN> to select Motor Setup.
3.
Press <ENTER>.
4.
Use <UP> or <DOWN> to select Motor Offset.
5.
Press <ENTER>.
6.
Use <UP> or <DOWN> to select Pan or Tilt.
7.
Press <ENTER>.
8.
Use <UP> or <DOWN> to increase or decrease the offset value, from 0–255.
9.
Press <ENTER>.
To set how long the display can be inactive before the backlight turns off:
1.
Press <MENU/ESC> repeatedly to reach the main level of the display menu.
2.
Use <UP> or <DOWN> to select Display Setup.
3.
Press <ENTER>.
4.
Use <UP> or <DOWN> to select Back Light.
5.
Press <ENTER>.
6.
Use <UP> or <DOWN> to select from On (always on), 10S (10 seconds), 20S (20 seconds),
or 30S (30 seconds).
7.
Press <ENTER>.
To set the intensity of the backlight:
1.
Press <MENU/ESC> repeatedly to reach the main level of the display menu.
2.
Use <UP> or <DOWN> to select Display Setup.
3.
Press <ENTER>.
4.
Use <UP> or <DOWN> to select Back Light Dimmer.
5.
Press <ENTER>.
6.
Use <UP> or <DOWN> to increase or decrease the dimmer value, from 1–100.
7.
Press <ENTER>.
To set whether the display orientation is normal or inverted:
1.
Press <MENU/ESC> repeatedly to reach the main level of the display menu.
2.
Use <UP> or <DOWN> to select Display Setup.
3.
Press <ENTER>.
4.
Use <UP> or <DOWN> to select Display Inverse.
5.
Press <ENTER>.
6.
Use <UP> or <DOWN> to select from No (for normal) or Yes (for inverted).
7.
Press <ENTER>.
