To run an automatic test of all NEXT NXT-1 functions:
1.
Press <MENU/ESC> repeatedly to reach the main level of the display menu.
2.
Use <UP> or <DOWN> to select Test Setup.
3.
Press <ENTER>.
4.
Use <UP> or <DOWN> to select Auto Test.
5.
Press <ENTER>.
To manually test any function:
1.
Press <MENU/ESC> repeatedly to reach the main level of the display menu.
2.
Use <UP> or <DOWN> to select Test Setup.
3.
Press <ENTER>.
4.
Use <UP> or <DOWN> to select Manual Test.
5.
Press <ENTER>.
6.
Use <UP> or <DOWN> to select from Pan, Pan Fine, Tilt, Tilt Fine, P/T Speed, Dimmer,
Shutter, Red, Green, Blue, or White.
7.
Press <ENTER>.
8.
Use <UP> or <DOWN> to increase or decrease the value of that function, from 0–255.
9.
Press <ENTER>.
To restart the product without cycling the power:
1.
Press <MENU/ESC> repeatedly to reach the main level of the display menu.
2.
Use <UP> or <DOWN> to select Reset Setup.
3.
Press <ENTER> twice.
To reset the product to factory defaults:
1.
Press <MENU/ESC> repeatedly to reach the main level of the display menu.
2.
Use <UP> or <DOWN> to select System Setup.
3.
Press <ENTER>.
4.
Use <UP> or <DOWN> to select Factory Settings.
5.
Press <ENTER>.
6.
Use <UP> or <DOWN> to select from No (keep current settings) or Yes (reset settings).
7.
Press <ENTER>.
After a Factory Reset, the NEXT NXT-1 will be set to Only DMX mode, with the 23-channel
personality and a starting address of 1.
To view information about the product:
1.
Press <MENU/ESC> repeatedly to reach the main level of the display menu.
2.
Use <UP> or <DOWN> to select Information.
3.
Press <ENTER>.
4.
Use <UP> or <DOWN> to select from
·
IP Address (see IP Mode),
·
Device ID (unique to each product),
·
Temperature (see Temperature Setting),
·
Fixture Time (the number of hours the product has been powered on),
·
Software Version (shows the currently installed versions of the software on all three
CPU boards in the product),
or
·
Reset State (if any function fails during the restart process, it will be shown here. No
shows that function reset correctly, Yes shows a failure. If a Yes continues to appear
after restarting the product, contact Chauvet Technical Support).
5.
Press <ENTER>.
