Using the Tuner Function
CUBE are equipped with a tuner function. In addition to manual
tuning, you can also use it as a chromatic tuner.
* Use manual tuning when the strings are substantially out of tune
(such as after changing strings).

Manual Tuning
1.
Press the [TUNER] button.
The unit enters the Tuner mode and the [TUNER] button lights up.
* No sound will be output from the speaker or from any of the jacks.
* The sound input to the i-CUBE LINK/AUX IN jack is output.
2.
Use the TYPE switch to select the string that you want to
tune.

Play a single note on the open string that you want to
tune.
Tune the string until the green indicator lights.

When you have finished tuning, press the [TUNER] button

Chromatic Tuning
If you hold down the [TUNER] button for one second or longer, the
[TUNER] button blinks and the unit becomes usable as a "chromatic
tuner, " which automatically determines the name of the note closest
to the one played.
As with manual tuning, chromatic tuning allows you to play a single
note on the string that you want to tune. Tune the string until the
green indicator lights.
Using i-CUBE LINK
"i-CUBE LINK" allows you to use the included mini cable (4-pole) to
connect your iPad/iPhone so that audio can be played back from
the iPad/iPhone while the sound of your guitar playing on the CUBE
is sent to the iPad/iPhone.
This function lets you use an iPad/iPhone app to record and play
back the sound of your guitar.

* If you only want to hear the sound that's being input from the iPad/
iPhone, turn down the [VOLUME] knob of each channel.

Restoring the Factory Settings
Here's how the settings stored in the CUBE can be returned to their
factory-set condition (factory reset).
1.
While holding down the [LEAD] button and [SOLO]
(MEMORY) button, turn the power on.
• All indicators will blink, and the settings stored in SOLO will
return to their factory-set state.
• The CUBE will return to memory priority mode (p. 9)
