Description of Parts
6 <ZEBRA> (zebra pattern) switch
Displays the zebra pattern in the viewfinder.
<ON>: Displays zebra patterns.
<OFF>: Does not display zebra patterns.
The display contents such as types of the zebra patterns differ depending on the connected camera.
For details, refer to the Operating Instructions of the camera.
7 <TALLY> switch
Controls the front tally lamp.
<HIGH>: Makes the front tally lamp brighter.
<OFF>: Turns out the front tally lamp.
<LOW>: Makes the front tally lamp darker.
8 Microphone holder
9 Front tally lamp
Operates and lights during shooting when the <TALLY> switch is set to <HIGH> or <LOW> position. It
also flashes and displays the warning in the same way as the REC lamp in the viewfinder.
The brightness when it is lit can be switched by the <TALLY> switch (<HIGH> or <LOW>).
10 Viewfinder stopper
Used for attaching and detaching the viewfinder.

13 Eye cup
Do not leave the eye cup pointed directly to the sun. Doing so might damage the internal device.
14 Visibility adjusting ring
Adjusts so that the image on the viewfinder screen appears the sharpest in accordance with the
visibility of the camera operator. For details on the eyepiece for presbyopia, consult your dealer.
15 Lock ring
16 Back tally lamp
Lights during the shooting. It also flashes and displays the warning in the same way as the REC lamp
in the viewfinder. The back tally lamp is hidden when the lever is pushed towards the <OFF> side.
Lamp display
For details, refer to the Operating Instructions of the camera.
1 Green tally lamp
Lights in green when a green tally signal is received from the camera control unit.
2 TALLY/REC (recording) lamp
Lights in red when recording or a red tally signal is received from the camera control unit. Flashes in
red when an error has occurred.
3 (Irregular operation status warning) lamp
The lighting condition can be set with the [!LED] in the menu of the camera. This can be used to
prevent an erroneous operation.
4 BATT (battery) lamp
Flashes or lights up depending on the battery condition. The condition to flash or light differs depending
on the camera setting.
5 SAVE lamp
Flashes or lights up depending on the camera setting. The condition to flash or light differs depending
on the camera setting.
