6. Operation

A proximity switch is located near the light opening.
The lamp is activated for 6 seconds when a workpiece
to be exposed is held under the light opening.
The orange filter prevents dazzling during exposure and
can be adjusted to the needs of the respective operator.
When the unit is overloaded, the lamp is deactivated
and the built-in fan cools the unit to normal operating
temperature. The unit must be switched on for this.
Hold the piece to be exposed in front of the light
opening at a distance of 0.5 to 1 cm.
For the preliminary polymerization of Sinfony, light-
cure each layer separately for 6 seconds (1 exposure
cycle). Note the respective instructions for use for
other materials.

7. Maintenance and Care

7.1 Replacing the orange filter and the curing plate

Remove the orange filter from the swiveling bracket.
Lift the front of the working plate and remove from
the bracket when the overlapping section is free.

7.2 Replacing the ellipsoid lamp

Do not touch the lamp when hot! Leave the unit
switched on until the lamp cools.
Switch the unit off and disconnect the power cord.
Remove the cover above the orange filter by pulling
forward.
Pull the lamp holder out.
Press the lamp cover down, turn to the left and pull
up to remove.
Remove the ellipsoid lamp from the holder and insert
a new lamp.
Assemble the unit by reversing the procedure above.

7.3 Cleaning and replacing the quartz rod

Soiling of and damage to the quartz rod impairs the
light output of the unit significantly! For this reason, the
