SHOWER MIXER MAINTENANCE
OUR ADVICE:
Regularly turn at least once a week the shower mixer control knob to the extreme limit positions (15°/50°) to prevent the
cartridge from getting clogged by sludge deposits.
THE THERMOSTATIC SHOWER MIXER CARTRIDGE
To prevent any operating abnormality due to a sludging of the mixer, perform the two simple ope−
rations below:
A − Frequently move the shower mixer control knob to the two extreme limit positions.
B − Regularly clean the thermostatic shower mixer cartridge (at least every 6 months and even
more often if you live in a region where the water contains hard water deposits).
1. Turn off the incoming
hot and cold water pipes.
Drain the thermostatic
shower mixer by opening
the incoming water fau−

the setscrew located in
the mixer base.

C/ clean the inside of the cartridge
2. Apply a little hand
pressure to the front of
the cartridge to release
the fork clip.
